Installation instructions
Follow the steps below for your operating system. If you run into issues, see the FAQ or contact support.
macOS

Download the installer
Click "Download for macOS" above. The .dmg file will download to your Downloads folder.

Open the disk image
Double-click the Senesly.dmg file. A window will open with the Senesly app icon.

Install the app
Drag the Senesly icon to the Applications folder. You may need to enter your Mac password.

First launch (Gatekeeper)
Go to Applications and open Senesly. If macOS blocks it, go to System Preferences → Security & Privacy → General and click "Open Anyway".

Sign in and connect
Sign in with your Senesly account, grant microphone permission, and connect your calendar or meeting app (Zoom, Meet, Teams).
Windows

Download the installer
Click "Download for Windows" above. The .exe file will download to your Downloads folder.

Run the installer
Double-click the downloaded file. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click "More info" then "Run anyway" (Senesly is signed and safe).

Follow the setup wizard
Accept the license, choose install location (default is fine), and click Install. Finish the wizard.

Launch Senesly
Open Senesly from the Start menu or desktop shortcut. Grant microphone and optional camera permissions when prompted.

Sign in and connect
Sign in with your Senesly account and connect Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams for real-time assistance.

Sign up at senesly.com/signup. Free tier includes practice and basic real-time support.

Install the desktop app
Use the download links above. The desktop app runs in the background and works with your browser and meeting apps.

Connect your meeting tool
Link Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams in Settings. Senesly runs undetectably during calls.

Practice or go live
Use Practice mode for mock interviews, or enable real-time assistance for actual interviews. You can toggle stealth mode in settings.
Frequently asked questions
Is Senesly detectable in interviews?
Senesly is designed to run in stealth mode. It does not share your screen or inject content into the call. You receive answers through a private overlay or second device. Use responsibly and in line with your employer or interviewer policies.
Do I need to keep the browser or app open during a call?
Yes. The Senesly desktop app (or browser tab) should be running in the background. It listens to the conversation and surfaces answers without being visible to others.
Which meeting platforms are supported?
Senesly works with Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. Support for other platforms may be added in future updates.
Can I use Senesly on multiple devices?
You can sign in on one desktop device per account. For mobile or additional devices, check your plan or contact support.
How do I get updates?
macOS: Senesly will prompt for updates or you can download the latest from this page. Windows: The app checks for updates on launch; you can also re-download from here.
