Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Senesly (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website, desktop application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services. Questions can be sent to support@senesly.com.

Summary of key points

  • What we collect: account details (like email), basic usage data, and content you provide (like notes or settings).
  • Audio/transcription: when you use real‑time features, audio may be processed to generate transcripts/answers. Where possible, we minimize storage and let you control what you save.
  • Payments: payment processing is handled by providers (for example Razorpay). We do not store full card details on our servers.
  • Sharing: we share data with service providers to run the Services, comply with law, and prevent abuse.
  • Your choices: you can request access, deletion, or correction of your data by emailing support.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide may include your email address, account preferences, customer support messages, and any content you choose to store in the Services (for example notes, prompts, or templates).

Payment information: if you purchase a subscription, our payment processors handle the sensitive payment details. We typically receive non-sensitive transaction identifiers, timestamps, and plan information to confirm your purchase.

Information collected automatically may include device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, and diagnostics/log data. This helps us keep the Services secure and improve reliability.

Audio/transcription inputs: when you enable real‑time transcription or voice features in the desktop app, audio may be processed to generate transcripts and responses. What is stored vs. processed transiently depends on the feature and your settings.

2. How we use your information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services.
  • Create and manage accounts, subscriptions, and entitlements.
  • Process payments, prevent fraud, and handle disputes/refunds where applicable.
  • Improve product quality, performance, and user experience.
  • Provide customer support and respond to requests.
  • Secure the Services and enforce our policies.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. When we share information

We may share information with trusted service providers that help us run the Services, such as hosting, analytics, customer support, authentication, file storage, payments, and AI/transcription providers. These providers are authorized to process information only as needed to provide services to Senesly.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect the safety and security of users, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale).

5. Cookies & analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage patterns. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

6. AI‑powered features

Senesly provides features that use artificial intelligence and machine learning (for example transcription and answer generation). These features may require sharing inputs/outputs with AI service providers to generate results.

You must not submit content that you do not have the right to use, or content that violates applicable laws or third‑party policies.

7. Social logins

If you choose to sign in using a third‑party provider (such as Google), we may receive basic profile information (for example your email) from that provider to authenticate you. We do not control how third‑party providers process your information; please review their privacy policies.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate business purposes (such as security, dispute resolution, and compliance). When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it when feasible.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s privacy

Our Services are not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your personal information. To make a request, email support@senesly.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

12. Do‑Not‑Track

Some browsers include a Do‑Not‑Track (DNT) signal. Because there is no consistent industry standard for DNT, we do not currently respond to DNT signals.

13. International users

If you access the Services from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be transferred and processed in other jurisdictions. We take steps designed to protect your information consistent with this Privacy Policy.

14. Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when changes were made. Material changes may be communicated through the Services or by other appropriate means.

15. Contact us
